I am an army brat, there's no doubt about that

My dad is fighting for your sake

Just thinking about it makes my heart ache

I miss him dearly, that is true

For when he comes home your thanks is due

We love country and will fight for it, I'm not like most women, who sit home and knit

I am a army brat that is true

Of course, my kids will be army brats too
